5. Why are you interested in sales?

Practically any dialogue (even internal), to my mind is a sale. I sell (or do not sell) myself the need for morning exercise. I sell (or do not sell) my daughter the idea of putting down her telephone and going for a walk in the forest. Business people, married couples, politicians, children and the rest of us are constantly involved in selling. I have always been interested in techniques for communication, which help in negotiating things. Not just in the business environment, but in any situation where communication is required.
