A board member of the Latvian Debate Association QUO tu domā? and a researcher at PROVIDUS think tank, he works on international research projects in the fields of politics, migration and integration. He has worked previously as an expert at the Competition Council of the Republic of Latvia.
Whilst studying at the Stockholm School of Economics in Rīga, he actively participated in international debating tournaments, winning debating tournaments at the Rīga Technical University and the University of Latvia in 2016, as well as reaching the final of the debating tournament at Oxford University in 2014 and the semi-final of the Cambridge University debating tournament in 2015.
Within the framework of the QUO tu domā? Debate Association, he presents workshops on argumentation and critical thinking, participates in various educational and debating culture development projects, and is active as a judge in international debating tournaments.
He has been collaborating with TRIVIUMS since 2018. He presents courses on critical thinking and argumentation.
